Easter

Easter was pretty simple this year.  We came up for the day.  We spent some time in the morning with Joe's parents.  It was nice to just sit, chat, and relax.

Next we headed out to my Grandma Masons.  I haven't seen my Grandma and Aunts and cousins...for a long while.  So it was nice to see everyone and catch up.  We did a little egg hunt, played apples to apples, and enjoyed a wonderful meal together.

Then we swung by my parents and hauled a treadmill into the truck to take home.  Did I mention that in Silverton it was a wonderful sunny 65 degree Easter Sunday?  It was beautiful and warm.  Coos Bay has been cold and wet…everyday.  This was a wonderful change of scenery.  So as we loaded up the treadmill I prayed for a rain free drive home.  Our drive was nice, it got colder as we headed south, but remained dry.  So we successfully hauled a treadmill home without getting it wet.

We had a wonderful Easter.  It was nice to my family that I haven’t seen since our wedding.  It was also nice knowing that I am going to be back in town soon.  So for those of you we didn’t see…we will see you soon.
